Booking Terms

All cars can be booked by phone, email or by using the "book online" or the "Contact Us" pages on this website.
Some Phone bookings may require confirmation by email (eg. bookings taken from private or witheld numbers). The following information is the minimum requirement for email bookings:

  • Name of Customer
  • Customer land line or Mobile number
  • Pick up Date and time
  • Address and Postcode
  • Destination address and postcode

If you are travelling from the airport the flight number from your airline and estimated time of arrival.

Airport Transfers
On your return to the airport, your driver will meet you in the airport terminal at the agreed meeting point,  your driver will have your name or company logo displayed on a name board.
Using either BAA flight information, Flightstats or Flight tracker service or  the airports own flight information we will check and track your flight.

Payments
Payments can be made using cash, credit/debit cards or pre paymet by credit card over the phone .
Credit/debit card transactions will incur a small processing charge. Invoices will be paid as per the agreed invoicing terms.

Confidentiality
Humphries Cars operates a 100% confidential service. No conversation or information seen or heard in the presence of a Humphries Cars driver will be disclosed to a third party and all information stored by Humphries Cars will be securely kept and then destroyed when no longer required.

Cancellations
Should you wish to cancel a booking at short notice and we have already despatched a taxi, a cancellation fee may be charged. This is to the discretion of the company.

Refusal of Passage
Humphries Cars reserves the right to refuse any customers who show signs of aggression towards the driver, or who have been using or in the possession of illegal substances or under the influence of alcohol.
